Deleting multiple playlists on Apple Music is tricky as Apple Music does not support bulk deletion at the moment.
So we went searching for ways to delete it and came across a few solutions. Unfortunately, the easiest ones require you to have a Mac device.
Solution
- Open Music app in you Mac
- Select the playlist you want to delete
- This will open the list showing items in this playlist as in the below image
- Now click ‘delete’ button, this will delete the playlist. This UI will jump to next playlist now. Pace yourself and delete the playlists simply by clicking delete button
- Once done go to File -> Library -> Update Cloud Library.
Note that deleting multiple playlists might not be updated well across devices. By doing step 5, you can make sure you sync those changes to cloud and other devices.
Click the delete button from the keyboard in this view, to delete the selected playlist
If you want to delete multiple albums or songs, select the Library option click CMD+A to select all the items and click the delete button.
